Robyne and the Wall Adventure
It’s always Robyne who keeps me on my toes. Both kids had already climbed up onto the wall where the electric wires are installed like yesterday. I’m not sure whether the current is set low or if the compound has turned off the power. It seems safe for now, but I still worry—if the power comes back on, the kids could get hurt 😟
Outside the compound, there are a few stones I use as my “stepping stones” to reach the top of the wall. When I walked with Ginger today, the kids were already up there again. Ginger immediately jumped up to meet them, and they ran straight toward her. But she stopped a bit too far from the stepping stones, so I called her over. She came, and since the kids were hungry, they followed her.
I managed to catch Robyne first—she was stressed and angry, her tail puffed up, and she screamed the moment I held her. Cross was easy to catch, and soon all of them were on the ground. But Robyne climbed right back up again. So, just like yesterday, I could only take Cross with me. Ginger and Cross got their meal, while Robyne stayed hungry.
I really don’t want to leave Robyne unfed, but she’s so stubborn. I hope she’ll learn to trust me soon—I don’t want to give up on her.
