Painting, Cat Houses, and a Bit of Time Travel
Ginger’s house and the three sides of my yard were finally built and levelled on 22 May. The next thing I did was continue painting the remaining area of the façade. Every time I lifted the extension rod, I felt like I was doing pole vaulting 😅 But the very top is still out of reach unless I climb onto a platform. Since the weather has been unstable, I’ll have to wait a little longer.
I still don’t understand why Ginger, Cross, or Robyne refuse to sleep in the house I built for them. During the day, I feed them inside their house. They eat inside. But they never stay there. I even put a cushion inside and tried placing them on it, but they still won’t sleep there 🧐 In the past, whenever it rained, I told Ginger to go into the bucket (an oil barrel), and she would listen. But now that she has a proper concrete house, she chooses to hide somewhere else 🤦
Apart from painting the façade and taking care of the cats, I’ve spent the last two weeks updating this site. Instead of using OrgChart.org for my family tree, I modified the code so it’s easier to update. I also refreshed the photo album. While doing all this, I felt like I was travelling back to those places again. I hope I’ll have the funds soon to travel for real.
